A Day Full of Sunshine & Sentiment
The day started bright and warm, fitting for a couple who calls themselves beach bums at heart. The warm tones of summer followed us from the church to the rolling greens of the golf course where we snuck away for some portraits. The vibe was laid-back and full of laughter Katie and Jared were just excited to finally be married.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day came through the details: decorations passed down from other family weddings, and a soft nautical theme woven through elements of the reception as a nod to their love for the water.
Classic Ceremony at St. Robert’s
Their ceremony took place at the stunning St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church, with Katie walking down the aisle to “Ave Maria”—a timeless choice that perfectly matched the elegance of the moment. The ceremony was peaceful, reverent, and full of smiles from start to finish.
Golf Course Portraits & Golden Hour Glow
Once the vows were sealed and cheers erupted from guests, we took a ride out to the Blyfield Country Club’s golf course for some quick portraits. The light hit just right, and Katie and Jared leaned into every moment laughing, stealing kisses, and soaking in their just-married energy.
The Flash Mob Heard ‘Round the Club
Then came the reception. From the moment the music kicked off, the energy was electric. Their first dance was set to Elvis Presley, a choice as classic and cool as they are. And just when everyone thought the dance floor couldn’t get more hyped… the flash mob hit. Yes, a full-on choreographed surprise dance dropped mid-reception, and the crowd went wild. It was fun. It was unexpected. And it was exactly the kind of energy that defines Katie and Jared, joyful, playful, and full of love for the people around them.
The Start of Something Beautiful
By the end of the night, their faces said it all just so happy and excited to be married. That’s what we love most about wedding days like this. It’s not about perfection or tradition—it’s about real people, real love, and a party that no one will forget.
