Kristi and Aaron planned the kind of wedding day we’ll always be obsessed with. Small guest list, zero fluff, and a whole lot of “we’re here to celebrate with our people.”

Right after the ceremony, we kept things moving with family photos, then grabbed a few portraits with Kristi and Aaron and their crew. When the day is smaller, you get to keep portraits relaxed. No rushing around. No herding 200 people. Just easy, natural moments that feel like them.
And honestly, that’s the best part of a micro wedding. You spend more time together and less time managing the schedule.
Celebrating At 10-56 Brewing
After portraits, everyone headed to 10-56 Brewing in Knox, Indiana for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. A brewery reception just makes sense. It’s laid back, it’s social, and it immediately feels like a hangout with your favorite people, but dressed up.
They did a buffet dinner, then rolled right into the classic reception moments. Cake cutting, first dances, and then the dance floor opened up.
First Dances And An Open Dance Floor
Kristi and Aaron’s first dance led into a few special parent dances, including a mother-son dance and a father-in-law and daughter dance. Those moments always land, especially when the room is filled with people who genuinely know you.
Then it was straight into open dancing. Small wedding, big energy. The best combo.
