Alexis and Walter’s downtown Chicago engagement session was a classic city stroll done the best way.

We started around the Chicago Riverwalk area and instantly had a ton of variety.
Water views, layered bridges, city reflections, and that walkable energy that makes portraits feel effortless. Riverwalk sessions are always a win because you’re naturally moving. Walk a bit, stop for a few portraits, then keep going.
Alexis and Walter were comfortable together right away, lots of laughs, lots of close moments, and the kind of chemistry that makes the camera feel like an afterthought.
The Wrigley Building Area
Then we made our way toward the Wrigley Building and grabbed some portraits with one of the most iconic backdrops in the city.
This area is perfect because the architecture feels timeless. It adds that classic Chicago look without needing anything fancy or staged.
We mixed in a few wider shots that show off the city vibe, then tightened in for clean portraits that kept the focus on them.
