Bettina and Josh got married at Riverside Terrace, which is a venue in Mishawaka with a great view of the river. It was a beautiful day and even the weather played ball! Bettina prepared on-site in the bridal suite at Riverside Terrace.

The ceremony

The ceremony was a beautiful service inside Riverside Terrace. During the ceremony, they poured unity sand with their son Spencer. Seeing all of them together, enjoying this moment did nothing but bring them all even closer together. It was so meaningful.

They decorated the area with gorgeous floral arrangements and the reception was in the St. Joseph River Room at Riverside Terrace – I love this venue because not only is it already a beautiful venue but it’s so customizable. Weddings at Riverside Terrace are amazing because you really can have the exact wedding you want all while in one location which is just wonderful.

Why Riverside Terrace is a great place to get married

Riverside Terrace offers a plethora of options to accommodate your wedding and is one of the nicest places to get married in Mishawaka. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there is such a great view overlooking the river which is perfect for photos.

The reception

The couple CHANGE THIS ONE in the afternoon, and a photo booth in the evening. For dinner, they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance Marry Me by Train. They finished off the evening with an awesome Sparkler “Exit” with their guests creating a tunnel for them to walk through. The Party People (DJ) set up these awesome spectacles!

Bettina wore a beautiful white strapless dress that fit so perfectly and Josh wore a three-piece suit and they looked really incredible. The main colors for their wedding were lavender and mint, which Lavendar is one of my favorite colors and I actually just happen to have matched their wedding colors, ha!

The couple got in touch with me after they saw one of their friend’s wedding images that I photographed. They reached out to me via my website, and their inquiry was so personal. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they just really wanted me there. That’s my goal for the entire wedding is to seem like a friend with a camera.
