Becky and Zach had a beautiful early November (3rd) wedding in South Bend Indiana at Clay Church on Ironwood. To start their day off, they bought got ready at Clay Church, of course on the opposite ends of the building. We were all SO freaking excited that the day was as warm as it was because Becky & Zach were going to go onto the Notre Dame football field for some photos later.

As both the bride and the groom were getting ready we made sure to keep an eye out for any and all potential moments. That’s really what being a wedding photographer is really about, just finding great ways to tell a wedding day story.

That morning we planned on doing a first look which would have them see each other before the wedding day. Having a First Look really allows you to open up with one another, privately. Giving you the time and space you need to appreciate each other and that’s exactly what they did here. Once these two had their moment together, it was time for the ceremony. Spoiler alert, they said “I DO!” And it was awesome!

The moment the ceremony was finished we all said our temporary good-byes, packed up and headed towards Notre Dame Stadium! Stepping onto the field with couples is such a great experience. On their wedding day they’ll get to go onto the field that means so much to them and their bridal party. We got some great wedding photos at Notre Dame, it’s such a beautiful location for weddings.

As our time for portraits drew to an end, we packed up once again and headed to The Blue Heron in South Bend for them to be announced into their reception.

As we pulled up to the Blue Heron in South Bend you could tell that both the bride and groom were ready to start DANCING! Speeches were made, first dances were had and the two of them could not stop smiling the entire time.
