EJ and Austin’s wedding wasn’t just a day—it was a journey. A joy-filled, laugh-until-you-cry, dance-until-your-feet-hurt kind of day that took us from the heart of downtown South Bend to the field at Notre Dame Stadium and ended with one epic party at the Downes Ballroom. From the moment we arrived at the Century Center, you could feel the energy buzzing. These two weren’t just getting married—they were making memories in every possible corner of the city that shaped their story.
EJ and Austin kicked things off with a first look right outside the Century Center. The moment Austin turned around to see EJ in her David’s Bridal gown—complete with bouquet charms and a flash of rose gold magic—it was game over. Cue the tears, laughter, and more than a few deep breaths before showtime. The ceremony took place on Island Park just steps away, surrounded by their closest people. They kept things unplugged (shoutout to fully present guests!) and said their vows under a warm breeze and a sky that held off just long enough.
After the ceremony, we hopped on a party bus and hit downtown South Bend for portraits. With burgundy, powder blue, and rose gold tones giving Hamilton energy throughout the day—EJ and Austin made every spot their own. Their vibe? Cozy meets playful, with a sprinkle of silly and a whole lot of real.
At 5 PM sharp, we stepped onto the field at Notre Dame Stadium. For these two, it wasn’t just about photo ops—it was about standing on a place that holds weight, meaning, and history. And they brought the energy. From romantic portraits to goofy grins under the goalposts, it was everything.
With cocktail hour underway at Notre Dame’s Downes Ballroom, the energy shifted from adventure to full-on celebration. After their grand entrance and a round of heartfelt speeches, EJ and Austin cut the cake and stepped onto the dance floor to Helpless from the Hamilton cast—because of course they did. From there, it was one emotional moment after another. A father-daughter dance that made everyone tear up. A mother-son dance that had everyone cheering. And the kind of dance floor that never lets up. They even snuck out to the northern balcony for a few quick sunset photos—because when the library and golden dome are glowing, you go.
There was no big sendoff, no over-the-top exit. Just two people who genuinely enjoyed every minute of their wedding day. Who celebrated with the people who mattered most. Who danced, laughed, and absolutely owned every step of the journey. And that’s the kind of love story we’ll show up for every single time.
