The Andrew Fisher Quartet (AFQ) came in for a branding session with one clear goal, create promotional images that actually match who they are.
Clean, bold, and professional, but still full of personality. The kind of photos that work for posters, album art, social media, and booking pages without feeling generic.
Branding photos are different than headshots because they have a job to do.
They need to represent the band’s vibe, help people recognize them, and make it easy for venues, festivals, and fans to take them seriously at first glance. AFQ’s session focused on creating a set of images that feel cohesive and ready to use everywhere.
We built the session around a mix of group shots and individual portraits.
That way AFQ has options for different needs, website banners, press kits, posters, promo graphics, and social media. We kept the style consistent so everything feels like part of the same visual identity, but still gave enough variety so the images can be used across multiple campaigns without feeling repetitive.
The goal was never “stand here and smile.”
We focused on confident expressions, natural interaction between the group, and a look that feels like you’re about to see them on stage. Branding sessions work best when the images look intentional, but still feel real.
1) Coordinate outfits, don’t match.
Stick to a consistent color palette and vibe, but let each person still look like themselves.
2) Know where you’ll use the photos.
Press kit, website, posters, album promo, social media. We can shoot with those exact crops and layouts in mind.
3) Aim for timeless.
Trendy is fine, but timeless gets you more mileage. You want images that still feel right a year or two from now.
If you’re ready for photos that look professional and actually match your brand, we can help.
We’ll keep the session comfortable, guide you through everything, and deliver images that are ready to use for your next release, your next show, or your next big push.
