Hannah and Robert’s engagement session brought together two of our favorite things about Southwest Michigan an afternoon exploring downtown St. Joseph and an evening along the shores of Lake Michigan.
From the character of downtown to the peaceful shoreline at Tiscornia Park, every stop gave us a different backdrop while keeping the focus exactly where it belonged: on the two of them.
A St. Joseph Engagement Session
Downtown St. Joseph is one of our favorite places for engagement sessions because it offers so much variety in a walkable area.
Historic storefronts, brick sidewalks, colorful corners, and views of Lake Michigan all come together to create a gallery that feels both timeless and full of personality.
Exploring Downtown Together
Rather than rushing from location to location, we took our time wandering through downtown.
Those walks between photo spots often become some of our favorite moments. They create space for conversations, laughter, and little interactions that make the gallery feel genuine instead of staged.
Ending The Evening At Tiscornia Park Beach
As the evening continued, we made our way to Tiscornia Park Beach.
The wide sandy shoreline, Lake Michigan waves, and soft evening light created a completely different atmosphere from downtown. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the sunset, and capture the kind of relaxed moments that naturally happen at the end of a great evening together.
