There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when you get married on the campus where your love story first began. For Stephanie and Kevin, that place was Notre Dame and their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of everything the university represents: tradition, beauty, reverence, and deep emotional connection.
The day began at the Morris Inn, where both Stephanie and Kevin got ready just steps away from the places that had meant so much to them during their time on campus. With her bridal details carefully laid out and her wedding party surrounding her, Stephanie began the day in a quiet bubble of excitement.
Kevin’s morning was filled with laughs and quiet anticipation as he suited up with his groomsmen, preparing to see his bride walk down the iconic aisle at one of the most breathtaking churches in the Midwest.
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart never disappoints—but on this day, it was glowing. With the light pouring in through stained glass windows, Stephanie walked herself down the aisle to meet Kevin at the altar. Their unplugged ceremony kept the attention where it belonged on the vows, the emotion, and the moments shared between them.
And to top it off? A bagpiper played as they exited, sending chills (in the best way) through everyone present.
After the ceremony, we explored some of the most iconic and meaningful spots on campus for portraits, starting with family photos inside the Basilica, followed by a massive group shot with guests on the steps of the Main Building. From the God Quad trees to the golden dome and lakeside views by Carroll Hall, every stop was a chance to reflect on memories and create new ones.
They even carved out time for private portraits at the stadium—a perfect nod to the place that helped shape their story.
With their guests gathered at the Morris Inn for cocktails and dinner, the couple made their grand entrance straight into cake cutting and speeches that brought laughter, happy tears, and a whole lot of love. As the Deja Vu Band fired up the dance floor, the room transformed into a celebration full of energy, hugs, and moments that flew by way too fast.
Stephanie and Kevin shared their first dance to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton: classic, emotional, and totally fitting for the night.
