When Lindsey and John toured the Marvis Arts Center, they knew they found something special. With multiple levels for ceremony and reception, elevators for accessibility, and an all-inclusive setup that took care of both décor and teardown, it was exactly what they needed. The space offered not just convenience, but atmosphere. It gave their guests room to breathe and gave them the peace of mind to enjoy every moment.
Yes, you read that right: Lindsey walked down the aisle to “Never Forget” from the Halo 3 soundtrack. And it was epic. With fall air, stunning florals from Bokay Florist, and a warm rustic palette pulled from Pinterest dreams, the entire ceremony was a perfect reflection of their personalities.
Their most anticipated moment? Seeing each other for the first time at the end of the aisle. And when it happened, time kind of stood still. That single moment made the stress, planning, and anticipation all worth it.
The day had a few surprises, some planned, some not. One of the biggest? A live painting of their ceremony by Rendered Moments (set up by Lindsey and Brenda as a surprise for John). It was a showstopper.
And while the weather played nice, the back of Lindsey’s dress had other plans. It broke during the reception. But she powered through, danced the night away, and made it work like a pro.
Their first dance? “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain.
Their guests? Having an absolute blast.
And their favorite moment of the day? All of it. From walking down the aisle to the final hugs goodnight, they soaked it in and made it theirs.
Lindsey and John also wanted to shout out the people who truly made their day what it was from helping pin boutonnieres to stepping in during last-minute dress prep, it took a team. And they felt the love from everyone who showed up and supported them.
“Creative, charismatic, helpful, open to ideas and takes directive. No changes needed Wes, you did a fantastic job!”
