When you mix a historic courthouse, ceremony views, and a couple who’s all-in on celebrating love with their people you get a day like Jenna and Dave’s.
From laughter during getting ready to sweet nods to family, their wedding was packed with energy, personality, and one damn good party.
Jenna got ready just steps away from where she’d later say “I do,” surrounded by longtime friends who’ve shared everything from city nights to SCA adventures. There was no shortage of hilarious throwbacks and heartfelt prep moments, including a special bouquet wrap made from her grandmother’s wedding dress.
Meanwhile, Dave and his crew were talking annual house parties and prepping in their own laid-back way. Quiet anticipation and big smiles all around.
Before guests arrived, Jenna and Dave shared a private first look a quick pause from the day to just take each other in. The nerves melted, the smiles lit up, and the moment was theirs. We love these quiet spaces in a wedding day that let everything slow down for just a second.
Set against the historic charm of Crown Point, Jenna and Dave’s ceremony brought together friends and family in a relaxed, open-air setting. Their officiant, Greg Bowman, guided them through a sand ceremony that included Dave’s kids, making it all the more meaningful.
With both Jenna’s parents walking her down the aisle the entire ceremony felt equal parts timeless and personal.
Post-ceremony, we explored some of the courthouse’s best photo spots and captured the love between these two just as the sun began to set. Think romantic lighting, real connection, and a few playful moments in between.
Every detail—from Jenna’s gown by Something Blue Bridal to Dave’s sharp look from Louie’s Tux—came together with classic elegance and down-to-earth style.
The celebration kicked off with their grand entrance, cake cutting, and a perfectly choreographed first dance to “Buona Sera” by Louis Prima. Jenna and Dave made sure the reception was full of intention, with speeches from their favorite people, dances with parents, and a full-out party once dinner wrapped up.
No dollar dance, no over-the-top moments just honest-to-goodness joy and a crowd that came to celebrate hard.
Jenna and Dave’s wedding wasn’t just a pretty day in a beautiful venue it was packed with real moments, big family energy, and a love that’s clearly built to last. These two made every detail their own and created a space where everyone felt connected, celebrated, and part of something special.
And honestly, that’s what it’s all about.
