I’ve never done an engagement session at a hardware store before, but these Lowe’s engagement photos came out great!

? ? Lowe’s Home Improvement has whatever you might need to build whatever you want. But who knew they’d be building a relationship and a foundation between Betsy and Wayne! ❤️ For the engagement session we of course had to head to Lowe’s in Mishawaka and it was awesome! The lighting department as well as the garden center was just perfect for their photos. Betsy was loving the plants, lol.

A few years back, while Wayne was working at Lowe’s, Betsy showed up and had a few questions in the lighting department. 30 minutes later, Wayne mustered up the courage and asked Betsy for her phone number and as they say, the rest is history. These two are perfect for each other. They both love the outdoors, snowboarding / skiing, scuba diving and all things fun or adventurous. The first date that they had was a kayaking trip, perfect match!

Off to the Beach

Once we finished taking their engagement photos in Mishawaka, we headed all the way up to St Joseph Michigan for some beach photos. Rocky Gap Beach is a beautiful spot! Great parking, right on the beach and so easy to get to, private too. The sunset there was absolutely stunning. Betsy was tempted to go into the water but it wasn’t the warmest and they didn’t bring extra clothes or even a towel, so we decided not to.

As we were walking the beach, Betsy couldn’t stop laughing and just being giddy with Wayne. The entire time I barely had to give any direction because their connection and energy is so strong. I didn’t need to direct them. These kind of sessions are the best, candidly capturing two people in love.
