A Rustic Venue with a Boho Heart

When Kara and Jon set out to find their wedding venue, they were looking for something elegant, laid-back, and just the right size. Once they saw the barn, it clicked. The whole space gave off a cozy rustic vibe with just enough boho charm to match Kara’s dream. It wasn’t over-the-top or overly styled it was them.

The First Look That Hit Different

Let’s talk about that first look. No matter how many weddings we’ve captured, seeing two people light up when they see each other for the first time that day? It never gets old. For Kara and Jon, that moment is one they’ll carry forever.

And yes, Jon did show up with a fresh haircut. Safe to say, that was one surprise Kara didn’t see coming.

Saying “I Do” (Without Crying… Sort Of)

Kara’s biggest challenge? Getting through her vows without crying. She crushed it, and the ceremony went off beautifully, even with the chill in the air. Nothing could dim the joy or that warm energy surrounding them.

The Reception: Dance Floor Goals

The moment dinner wrapped and the music kicked in, it was game on. Kara and Jon owned the dance floor, and their crew did not hold back.

Highlight of the night? Jon’s little brother breaking it down with a mop stick. Yes, you read that right and no, we didn’t miss it.

The Vibe: Rustic Meets Boho

Kara loves boho but embraced the venue’s rustic charm, and somehow they pulled off a blend that felt completely unique. Amazon came in clutch for decor, and with florals, lighting, and all the little touches, the space looked straight out of a wedding daydream.
