Erin and Isaac’s Swan Lake Resort wedding felt like a rom-com in the best way. Romantic, whimsical, and fun was exactly how they described their day, and honestly, you could feel that vibe from the first minute.
From a first look that brought the nerves down, to an unplugged ceremony that had everyone fully present, to a bubble exit that looked straight out of a movie, this day was full of sweet moments and big energy.
Erin and her crew were posted up at Swan Lake Resort, and their “we could talk about this forever” topic was elite: their Princess Diaries themed bachelorette party and Disney Channel nostalgia. So yeah, it was laughter, chaos, and inside jokes in the best possible way.
Erin also had some seriously meaningful details woven into the day. Her engagement ring included diamonds from her grandma and her dad’s rings, and her wedding band was her mom’s. Add in a photo charm on the bouquet, plus a surprise photo charm gift for Isaac to wear on his tux, and you’ve got the kind of personal touches that make detail photos hit different.
Meanwhile, Isaac and the guys had the ultimate Swan Lake morning plan: golfing on site, then getting cleaned up for the main event. Swan Lake really is built for a full weekend wedding experience, and they took advantage of it.
Erin and Isaac chose a first look, and it was a perfect fit for them. It gave them time to breathe, be together, and soak it in before guests arrived.
Also, Erin and Isaac wanted a decent amount of direction for photos, which we love. You don’t have to “know how to pose.” You just show up and trust the process, and we’ll guide you into stuff that feels natural, flattering, and still very you.
Fingers crossed for outdoor ceremonies always, and Swan Lake is such a good spot for it. Erin and Isaac planned an unplugged ceremony, but with a fun little twist.
They wanted guests to have a quick moment to snap a photo, then phones away for the rest. That’s honestly the best of both worlds. People get their one picture, then they’re fully present for everything that matters.
Their ceremony also included a unity moment with a time-capsule style vibe, and Isaac’s cousin played violin for seating and the processional, which immediately made everything feel elevated and emotional without being over the top.
And their recessional plan? Bubbles. Always a yes.
One of the best parts of a Swan Lake Resort wedding is that you do not have to leave the property to get variety. Erin and Isaac wanted to use the prettiest spaces around Swan Lake, including the fountain behind the gazebo, and we were absolutely on board.
Between the outdoor paths, greens, water features, and all the surrounding nature, it’s easy to get a full gallery that feels like multiple locations, without the travel stress.
Their colors were all about purples, which paired so nicely with Swan Lake’s greenery and golden light.
After the ceremony, the celebration kicked right into cocktail hour and then the reception energy turned up fast.
Erin and Isaac planned a lineup that kept things moving and fun. Entrances, a first dance to “You Are My Sunshine” by Chris and Morganne Stapleton, dinner, speeches, cake cutting, then a table dash. If you’ve never seen a table dash done right, it’s basically a speed-run of hugs and photos with every table, and it’s such a smart way to make sure you actually get to dance later.
They also saved time for sunset portraits (thank you), and then ended the night with one of our favorite things ever: a private last dance at the gazebo. Just the two of them, no crowd, no pressure, one last moment to breathe it in.
And yes, their big exit included bubbles and a getaway golf cart, which is exactly as fun as it sounds.
If you’re planning a Swan Lake Resort wedding, build in 10 to 15 minutes for golden hour photos if your timeline allows. The light on that property can be unreal, especially near the gazebo and golf course edges. You’ll get those dreamy, romantic portraits without disappearing from your party for long.
