When everything happens in one place, there’s room to actually enjoy your wedding day. For Maggie and Wyatt, tying the knot at The Morris Estate meant no stress about traveling between venues just one gorgeous location where love, laughter, and a few raindrops in the morning set the stage for a celebration they’ll never forget.
Let’s start with the dress because this wasn’t just any wedding gown. Maggie wore her mother’s dress, altered to reflect a more modern style while keeping the sentimental heart of it fully intact. It was more than stunning it was meaningful, personal, and the perfect touch to start a new family chapter while honoring the past.
The Morris Estate made everything easy. Ceremony, portraits, cocktails, and reception all flowed seamlessly without the need to hop in cars or coordinate separate locations. The venue’s team handled everything with care, making sure each little detail looked amazing and every moment felt relaxed.
Bonus? Maggie and Wyatt were able to knock out portraits early and actually enjoy their cocktail hour more time with friends and family, less time posing. That’s a wedding win.
Maggie admitted she was nervous leading up to the ceremony remembering to walk slowly, smile, and just be present. But once she locked eyes with Wyatt walking down the aisle? Everything else melted away.
That first kiss as husband and wife? Absolutely unforgettable.
From seeing old friends who came from out of town to simply being surrounded by everyone they love, Maggie and Wyatt’s day was packed with meaningful little moments. Even the morning rain turned into a fond memory especially since it cleared up in time for the festivities.
And let’s talk about their color palette: sage and orange brought a fresh and vibrant feel to the day, setting a tone that was both earthy and elegant.
“Find a location like ours. It was nice not having to move from location to location for the different parts of the day. Knock your pictures out ahead of time or as many as you can. It was nice enjoying the cocktail hour.”
Simple advice, but seriously spot on. Maggie and Wyatt leaned into what worked for them, and the payoff was a stress-free day filled with intention.
