Wedding Photography at the Notre Dame Basilica

Anna and her girls started off the wedding day at the Inn at Saint Mary’s in South Bend Indiana. Being able to get ready so close to the Notre Dame Basilica, it was the perfect spot for them to get ready at. While they were prepping to get beautified for the day, I took some time to capture her wedding day detail photos such as her wedding dress, shoes, and jewelry. Once everyone was dressed and ready to go, we stepped out for a few photos before heading to the Basilica to get this wedding ceremony started.

During the portraits it did start to sprinkle and even turned into a quick but heavy downpour. This is why being able to use flash photography is critical in times like this. We were able to go inside the Main Building on the Notre Campus and capture some amazing portraits with and without her bridal party. We did also step out onto the Main Stairs for some outdoor, but covered family photos.

The wedding inside the Basilica at Notre Dame is a sight to behold. Watching two amazing people get married at the University that has helped shape who they are as people and a couple, it’s beautiful.
