8 wedding venues near South Bend Indiana and throughout the Michiana Area. This would include, Notre Dame, St Joseph, Benton Harbor and Valparaiso. So if you’re looking for a venue near any of those places, here’s some of my favorite.

This is in no particular order and every single spot is just an outstanding place to experience your wedding day. Each venue is different from the last and I think you’ll find some great places for you to choose. Every single one I have personally worked with, have great teams to help you and none of my couples alerted me of any issues.

Here’s a few of my favorite wedding venues

1. The Allure – Laporte, Indiana

The most unique wedding venue in Laporte Indiana is for sure. The Allure has a ton of great things going for it. The ceremony site downstairs is very stunning and also allows you to have a cocktail hour. Upstairs there is a large and unique banquet hall for you and your guests to dance all night in. When you’re choosing a photographer, make sure they are able to light up a dark room. You will love their getting ready suites too!

2. Swan Lake Resort – Plymouth, Indiana

Nestled among rolling greens and serene woodlands, Swan Lake Resort offers a stunning backdrop for weddings filled with charm, elegance, and effortless beauty. With multiple ceremony and reception spaces, on-site accommodations, and picturesque landscapes, it’s the perfect setting for a wedding that feels both grand and intimate.

3. Shadowland on Silver Beach – St Joseph, Michigan

Have you ever wanted to have your wedding on a beach? How about at a venue with a carousel attached that you can rent out and ride!! There’s also a stunning Lighthouse that you can ask about and take photos inside of! You seriously might want to consider Shadowland on Silver Beach for your wedding day venue. Because this place has all those things, plus an amazing pizza spot right next door.

4. Aberdeen Manor – Valparaiso, Indiana

How would you like to check off a few things from your wedding day list? Maybe you’re looking for a ceremony location, wedding reception, coordinators, catering, decor, and lighting? Yeah, all of that is here at Aberdeen Manor. Plus they have a full on bridal shop connected as well.

You can have your ceremony in the chapel or outside in their garden. Their dance floor has an awesome hanging cake display as well as a “snow fall” effect that can cover your dance floor to make it magical AF!

5. The Armory – South Bend, Indiana

Large vaulted ceilings, stunning chandeliers and exposed brick. The Armory is an elegant and modern wedding venue, plus it’s connected to Iron Hand Winery, score!! There is so much uniqueness within this one location. You also have a gorgeous view of the St Joseph River while being just a few minutes away from downtown South Bend!

6. Blue Dress Barn – Benton Harbor, Michigan

The Blue Dress Barn has such a stunning esthetic. The outdoor ceremony locations really offers a unique setting unlike most other places around here. Especially if you go during the season when things are blooming and the colors are popping. The location offers countless spots for a beautiful backdrop to your wedding images.

Inside the barn is where your reception will be held and the drinks will be served. Connected to that is the bridal suite for you all to get ready in and across the ceremony area is the getting ready RV! If you’re looking for a place with a very unique vibe, this is it.

7. North Lake Wedding & Events – Berrien Springs, Michigan

Tucked away in the natural beauty of Northeast Indiana, North Lake Weddings & Events is where rustic charm meets refined sophistication. With scenic outdoor spaces, a versatile indoor venue, and serene lake views, it’s the perfect backdrop for couples looking to create a wedding day that feels personal, peaceful, and full of love.

8. Notre Dame – South Bend, Indiana

Are you having a Notre Dame wedding? Then that campus probably has a special place in your heart, and it does for me too. I have gotten the chance to capture some amazing people’s wedding days there. Every single spot on campus is gorgeous, you really can’t go wrong.

There are so many places on Notre Dame Campus that it’s tough to name them all. You’ve got the Notre Dame Stadium, Duncan Hall, Basilica, Notre Dame Avenue, Main Building (Golden Dome), God Quad, Touchdown Jesus… The list goes on and on! Your wedding photographer will help you in finding the best spots for you and your images.
