When Michelle and Matt first stepped foot into Blissful Barn in Three Oaks, Michigan, they didn’t need a second venue tour. It was love at first sight. And just like their relationship, their wedding day was heartfelt, fun, and perfectly unpolished in the most lovable way.

A Dress That Chose Her

Michelle’s dream dress found her before she was even really looking. During a trip to Here Comes the Dress in Granger (originally just for bridesmaid dresses), she slipped into a Maggie Sottero gown that didn’t look like the one on the hanger but once she had it on, it was obvious. Elegant, boho, and effortless just like her entire vibe that day.

A Ceremony with Character

These two wanted to be married. Full stop. And when the moment finally arrived, everything else faded into the background.

Western Meets Boho

The theme? A blend of Michelle’s love for boho aesthetics and Matt’s Western roots. From lace and dried florals to boots and barnwood details, every corner of Blissful Barn reflected the life they’re building together laid-back, stylish, and rooted in love.

What made it even more special? Michelle’s mom handcrafted much of the décor herself, pouring her heart into every little detail. You could feel the love in that barn.

Golden Hour, Cake Slicing & “I Do”

Despite the cake being cut solo (Michelle owned it), the “I do”s were pure magic. And seeing each other for the first time that day? That moment hit hard. You could practically hear time slow down when they locked eyes.

By the end of the night, Michelle was ready for sweatpants and sleep but not before soaking in every bit of love, laughter, and joy packed into their celebration.

Final Words & Fuck Yeahs

From the ceremony to the last song, this day was full of personality. Our favorite moment? When someone yelled “Fuck yeah!” and the whole crowd laughed along because that’s just how comfortable and fun the whole day felt. No stuffy vibes here. Just two good-hearted people saying yes to forever.
