The First Look (and the first laughs)

Before the ceremony, Brandi and Nick chose to do a first look a quiet moment where they got to shake off the nerves, see each other, and let the chaos of the day pause for just a minute. From the get-go, these two weren’t about tradition for tradition’s sake. They were about them. And it showed in every moment we captured.

Silver Beach Ceremony Shenanigans

The ceremony took place just steps from the lake, with guests settling into the Pavilion as the golden light rolled in. Officiated by Jeff Van Cleave, the ceremony was short, sweet, and exactly what Brandi and Nick wanted nothing over the top, just heartfelt vows, belly laughs, and a few “I do’s and shit,” as Brandi so perfectly put it.

Carousel Rides & Cocktails

What’s better than a lakeside cocktail hour? One that includes a carousel. Yep. Guests were invited to hop on and ride like kids again, creating some of the most joyful candid moments of the day. Meanwhile, Shadowland’s team transformed the space into a twinkling celebration with coral, off-white, oasis blue, and all the sparkle a summer wedding deserves.

Cake & One Hell of a Dance Floor

Once the couple made their grand entrance, they rolled straight into their cake cutting and first dance to “You & Me” by Dave Matthews Band because duh, of course they did.

Dinner rolled out at 7:15 with toasts that brought both tears and roars of laughter. Then it was time to crank the volume and let loose. Parent dances kicked things off, but once the lights dimmed and the beats dropped, it was game on.

Sunset Vibes & Sentimental Details

Even amidst all the fun, there were quiet nods to those who couldn’t be there. Brandi included a memorial table for her mom at the reception an elegant, simple touch that made the space even more meaningful.

And that last dance? Pure magic. No sparklers, no grand exit just two people, fully in love, surrounded by everyone who matters, closing out one of the best nights of their lives.
