From a Dream Church Aisle to Forever

Tameica had a dream. Not just about marriage, but about where it would happen. That dream led her and Matt straight to Grace Community Church, a place they discovered when seeking a deeper connection with God and ended up becoming their home church long before they were planning a wedding. So when it came time to say “I do,” they knew exactly where their journey needed to begin.

That Dress Wasn’t the Plan… Until It Was Perfect

The search for the perfect dress wasn’t going well until it was. At Simply Yours Bridal, a gown that was the total opposite of what Tameica envisioned ended up being the one. “It was made perfectly for me,” she said, and if you’ve seen the photos, you know she’s right.

Nerves, Vows, and Love Letters

Both were a little anxious about writing vows… so instead, they wrote love letters to each other to read before the ceremony. And honestly, it made everything even more personal. The moment they exchanged letters, the nerves melted away. They were ready to do this.

The Reception at Chicory Event Center

After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Chicory Event Center in Mishawaka, where the vibes were chill, the food was fire (tacos, of course), and the room was decked out beautifully thanks to the incredible Julie, who not only ran the venue but also provided décor and linens.

They kept things simple and it was perfect.

Let’s Talk About That Dance Floor

Nobody expected it. Not Matt’s family. Not the bride. But once the music hit, everyone hit the floor. From The BBQs dropping bangers to impromptu dance-offs, it was one of those nights where you just didn’t want it to end. Guests let loose, family barriers disappeared, and joy took center stage.

The Last Dance That Said It All

While the night was full of unforgettable moments, the last dance was the one that stuck with them the most.

After the food, speeches, photos, and laughter… it was just the two of them, swaying together at the end of the night, soaking it all in. “It was such a blessing to be in that moment,” said Tameica.
