Some weddings go big on themes. This one kept it simple and meaningful. Jess and Christopher planned a The Hall at St Peter’s wedding that felt relaxed, personal, and very them. It was sweet, a little nerdy, and full of real connection.
Coverage began at noon, and the crew energy was already great. Jess and their people could talk forever about animatronics, puppets, and kids’ TV classics. Christopher’s side brought “nerd stuff” too, especially Dungeons & Dragons. That mix made the morning feel fun without feeling chaotic.
Jess also had a memorial charm on their bouquet for their grandparents. It was small, but it carried a lot of weight. Those details are why a The Hall at St Peter’s wedding can feel so personal.
Jess and Christopher chose a first look, and it gave them space to breathe. They wanted lots of direction, so we leaned into natural prompts and clean posing. The goal was simple, keep it comfortable and keep it true.
They also planned to stay close to the venue for portraits. That made everything easier on the timeline. It also kept the day feeling calm and connected.
Their ceremony was indoors and started at 3:00 PM. Jess was walked down the aisle by both of their dads, and the moment landed hard. It was one of those scenes that makes the room feel smaller. In the best way.
They also planned a receiving line after the ceremony. That choice gave them real time with their people. It fit the “just a wedding” vibe perfectly.
Family portraits mattered a lot for this day. Jess has both a biological father and an adoptive father, so two family sets were important. They also wanted a portrait with their daughter, Willow. That one is going to be a forever photo.
They also requested one group photo with all of Jess’ siblings. That included both sides of their family. Planning for that up front kept everything smooth during a The Hall at St Peter’s wedding timeline.
Cocktail hour began right after the ceremony, and dinner followed around 5:00 PM. Toasts were planned during dinner, around 5:45 PM, with the maid of honor and best man. Their first dance was set for 6:00 PM to “Never My Love.” Parent dances followed, including dances with both of Jess’ dads.
The whole reception was built for simple fun. No forced traditions, no extra fluff, just a solid party. That is exactly what a The Hall at St Peter’s wedding can feel like.
If you have layered family dynamics, talk through portraits early. Build in a little extra time, and name a family photo wrangler. It keeps things kind, fast, and drama-free. Then you can get back to your people sooner.
