Tyraah & Arick’s Wedding at North Lake Weddings & Events

Set against the scenic backdrop of North Lake in Berrien Springs, Michigan, Tyraah and Arick celebrated their love with an effortlessly elegant wedding that felt perfectly like them. From their laid-back attitude to the joy radiating off every guest, this was a day built on love, laughter, and an epic group of people ready to party.

A Gorgeous Venue with Personality

North Lake Weddings & Events brought the best of both worlds timeless charm with a modern edge. The outdoor ceremony space gave us beautiful lakeside views, and the reception venue was filled with warm, cozy energy that made every guest feel welcome.

The whole day felt like a mix of timeless class and real-life fun, which is exactly what you want on a wedding day.

A Ceremony Short, Sweet & Full of Love

After spending the morning getting ready on-site with their best friends (and plenty of laughter), Tyraah and Arick kept the ceremony simple, heartfelt, and perfectly them. With their friend Dalton officiating, they said “I do” under wide open skies, surrounded by all the people who mean the most. No grand theatrics, just real, meaningful vows and a kiss to seal the deal.

After the ceremony, we kept portraits light and fun exactly how these two wanted it. A few posed family group shots, a handful of candid laughs, and some romantic time alone by the lake (plus a little creative light play for good measure). Both Tyraah and Arick mentioned loving candids and in-the-moment shots, so we kept it flowing naturally just like their personalities.

A Reception Worthy of a First Dance Banger

Once the sun dipped low and the reception began, guests kicked off the evening with heartfelt speeches and incredible food thanks to Sugarella’s Catering. Tyraah and Arick’s first dance to “I’m Gonna Be” by Joey Stamper set the perfect tone romantic, emotional, and filled with all the good vibes. There weren’t any parent dances, bouquet tosses, or cake cutting traditions they kept it simple and focused on celebrating with their people.

And yes, the party definitely delivered.

From Wedding Bells to Italy

No grand exit was planned, but these two are heading somewhere even grander Italy for their honeymoon. With plans to explore Praiano on the Amalfi Coast, Venice, Parma, and Tuscany, they’re kicking off married life with wine, history, and some well-earned relaxation.
