Suzanne and Anthony’s South Bend micro wedding was the perfect blend of elegance, intimacy, and joy. With only eight attendees, their day focused on what mattered most—celebrating their love in a beautiful and personal way.
Originally planning to elope, Suzanne and Anthony chose to include their immediate family to create a semi-elopement experience. By keeping their guest list small, they eliminated the stress of pleasing a large crowd and focused on crafting a meaningful and memorable day.
The ceremony took place at Suzanne’s uncle’s stunning property, featuring a gorgeous koi pond with a tranquil fountain. Suzanne walked down the aisle on her own, while their mothers tossed petals from baskets, adding a whimsical and personal touch to the moment. Their fathers held the rings, making them an integral part of the ceremony.
Suzanne’s uncle’s husband, officiating with a Universal Life Church certificate, created a short yet sweet ceremony that celebrated their love in an intimate and heartfelt way.
Suzanne wore a show-stopping wedding dress, while Anthony looked sharp in his suit. They kept all the traditional elements of a wedding, including exchanging rings and cutting their cake, but with a laid-back, intimate vibe.
After the ceremony, the couple snuck over to the Oliver Mansion for portraits, taking advantage of the mansion’s timeless charm to capture stunning moments. Their friend Ross acted as their wedding coordinator, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Suzanne and Anthony wanted their friends and family to experience their day despite not being present. Wes created a highlight video and an edited ceremony video, allowing them to share their special moments with loved ones.
“Wes was a spur-of-the-moment decision for us, and it was one of the best decisions we made! He created the most perfect highlight video and edited a ceremony video that still makes me cry three months later!
Wes made us feel so comfortable and was incredibly easy to work with. His work is outstanding, and we will cherish it forever. I cannot stress enough how amazing Wes is! If you’re considering hiring him, do it now. You won’t regret it!”
The couple encourages others to focus on what truly matters when planning a wedding. Keeping their celebration small allowed them to create a stress-free, meaningful day filled with love.
Suzanne and Anthony’s South Bend micro wedding was a heartfelt and intimate celebration, proving that even the smallest weddings can be filled with incredible beauty and love.
