Lori & Matthew’s Brookfield Zoo Wedding
It’s not every day you get to say “I do” just steps away from giraffes and snow leopards but Lori and Matthew’s wedding wasn’t about following the usual path. It was about doing something that felt wildly them.
From a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by lush zoo landscapes to portraits with peacocks roaming in the background, their wedding day at Brookfield Zoo was filled with unique charm, real emotion, and unforgettable moments.
A Ceremony as Unique as Their Love
Lori and Matthew exchanged vows in one of the most scenic spots at the zoo surrounded by greenery, warm sunshine, and a crowd of family and friends who showed up with all the love and support you could ask for.
It was sweet, intimate, and perfectly timed with the late-afternoon light beaming through the trees. And while the animals didn’t officially RSVP, we’re pretty sure a few were peeking in for the good stuff.
Portraits with a Wild Backdrop
After the ceremony, we explored the zoo for some iconic portraits and the place delivered. From elegant shots by the fountains to playful moments near animal enclosures (yes, there were photobombs), Lori and Matthew brought the energy and love to every frame. They were playful, affectionate, and fully present with each other exactly the kind of vibe we love to document.
Reception Energy at the Zoo
The celebration continued with a lively reception inside one of Brookfield Zoo’s elegant event spaces. Their guests knew how to show up for a good time, and the dance floor made that very clear. Between toasts that had everyone laughing and a vibe that never quit, Lori and Matthew’s reception was the kind of party you hope never ends.
A Wedding That Stood Out (for All the Right Reasons)
Lori and Matthew created a wedding day that was unique, joy-filled, and unapologetically theirs. The kind of day where love, adventure, and community came together and left every guest talking about it long after the last dance. We couldn’t have been more honored to capture it.
