When April and Art chose The Grand LV for their wedding, they were drawn to its eclectic, old-school elegance and it delivered. With gold accents, dramatic navy ceilings, and a stateroom that practically demands celebration, it became the perfect canvas for their classic glam vibe with a touch of cozy fall warmth.
The color palette? Ivory, gold, and navy, with just enough autumnal touches like white pumpkins and glowy candlelight to keep things romantic and seasonal. The whole day felt like an upscale vintage dream.
Before the ceremony, April and Art shared a first touch and what was supposed to be a calm, quiet moment ended up hitting deep. April isn’t usually a crier, but emotions came flooding in. And during the ceremony? Art forgot his vows mid-sentence (in the best, most human way), reminding us all just how real and beautiful these moments are.
Also… let’s not forget the iconic photo-op: a romantic dip in the middle of the street. Peak main-character energy.
April walked down the aisle to a soft instrumental version of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, while the autumn sun lit up the room through those tall Grand LV windows. Art had no idea what song she picked for the bridal exitand when it started, his face said it all. It was one of his favorite songs, a surprise April had kept to herself until that very moment.
After the “I do’s,” the couple soaked up every moment together while we snuck off for post-ceremony portraits (April’s fave part of the whole day). The candlelit tables, white pumpkins, and soft lighting inside the venue created a cozy, high-end feel that matched the vibe perfectly.
Their first dance? Perfect by Ed Sheeran. And honestly, it was.
Oh and the photo booth? Massive hit. (We stayed a little longer so guests could keep enjoying it because that’s what we do.)
“Don’t waste money on things people won’t notice. E-vites kept things simple. Sam’s Club flowers were stunning and affordable. We made dipped pretzel rods as favors—low cost, huge hit. Splurge on photo + video. It’s worth it.”
